El Colorado - Farellones

This ski center, only 40 km away from Santiago, is formed by the small villages of El Colorado and Farellones. It has excellent trails and world class infrastructure. Snowmaking guaranties the full season. Together with La Parva and Valle Nevado, you can enjoy the largest South America skiable area, with 45 lifts and 102 trails.

Valle Nevado

60 km from Santiago at 3.025 m above sea level, this international and modern ski center is located in the midst of the most spectacular area in the Andean high country. 24,216 acres of spacious mountain form the greatest skiable area of the Southern Hemisphere. More than 40 miles of groomed runs, in 29 trails and 9 lifts; 25% for beginners, 40% for intermediate, and 35% for experts. This center offers heliskiing and helisnowboarding, as well as guided, on foot excursions on the Andes.

Portillo

One of the most beautiful and famous winter complex in South America, where the 1966 World Alpine Ski Championships took place. Located at 2.855 m above sea level, it offers trails for all levels: 15% beginners, 60% intermediate y 15% difficult and 10% expert. The maximum vertical drop is 762 meters and the longest run is 2456 m. And with the splendid natural surroundings of the Laguna del Inca it is worth to visit. Located in the middle of the trails, makes this place one of the most beautiful and famous of South America.
